Your role
As our Business Development Representative, you’ll be the first touchpoint for many of our future customers, helping ecommerce brands understand how Engaige can automate their support and turn service into a growth driver.
You’ll be the engine behind our outbound efforts: researching, engaging, and qualifying high-potential ecommerce brands that can benefit from our AI platform. Working closely with our founders and sales team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our outbound strategy, testing messaging, and turning cold outreach into real conversations and pipeline.
What you will do
Research and identify high-potential ecommerce brands
Craft and test outbound messaging across email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels
Run the entire sales cycle from discovery calls and demos to closing the deal
Work directly with the founders and GTM team to refine ICPs and outreach playbooks
Share insights from the field to help shape positioning, product, and GTM strategy
Keep our CRM (HubSpot) updated with accurate, actionable pipeline data
Job requirements
What we are looking for
1+ years of experience in sales or outbound lead generation (BDR/SDR or similar)
A proactive, curious self-starter who gets energy from conversations and solving real customer problems
Ambitious and performance-driven — you aim to be in the top 1% of your field
Comfortable with experimentation, rejection, and fast learning cycles
Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot (or quick to learn new systems)
Fluent in English; Dutch is a bonus
Based in the Netherlands and excited to join us in person at our Utrecht office
